For the first time, the HfMDK Symphony Orchestra gave a concert outside the university under the direction of its new musical director in summer 2017. In an interview, Scottish football manager Sir Alex Ferguson likened a symphony orchestra to a football team, as both rely entirely on the players' collaborative performance.
